Bogle Band Plays Whithorn - New Album Release called "TURN"

Today I was the subject of a photo shoot outside 121 George Street. A drunk man kept on getting in the way. He was a friendly drunk but it was a bit hilarious. The photographer turned up looking for the Moderator and his guitar.I explained to him that the kind of picture with a Moderator and a guitar was not what the "Turn" album was all about. Turn  is a collection of songs that Iain Jamieson and myself have written over the past few years. Some of the songs have just been lying around doing nothing. When we listened to them again, we felt some of them were quite strong songs and indeed there was a theme of reconciliation, peace and forgiveness running through all of them. So we took them into the recording studio at the beginning of July and recorded six songs under the professional guidance of our producer and collaborator Graeme Duffin, often referred to as the 5th member of Wet wet Wet. Graeme is a great person to work with, he brings out the best in everyone, and he also has a great gift in creating the right sound for the song. i particularly like the way he has produced the sound on the track called " Maggie" The result is a collection of songs that speak to the heart from the heart. Its encouraged me to try and keep the band together. So when i can we're putting on the odd concert. The next one will be in St Ninian's Priory Whithorn on Saturday Night  13 October at 7.00pm. Its free so if your in the area or know of those who would enjoy the evening pass the word around. If you want to buy the album check it out on iTunes
