P.S. have just sent Christopher Logue’s poem to my pastor who too is getting opposition to risk-taking measures, have you seen it?

oooh! well I got my magnifying glass out and managed to get through all this thinking. I am heartened by it. Am trying to work through similar ideas from the Fresh Expressions dvds but finding resistance to change OUTSIDE CofS too - sigh. It’s proving difficult to find like-minded people and I don’t think it is right to try and go it alone. btw ‘squeeze you into its mould’ smashing phrase but wasn’t it J B Phillips who coined it? maybe I’m older than you!! blessings. Weighty theoretical issues are all very well but many are perhaps looking for those who can lead; those who are Christian role models - walking with Jesus in every way and every day; those who are enthusiastic Christians - enthusiatic for God; compassionalte and caring people; those who will listen - listen to God and take time to listen to others; those who read and know God’s word.
