Getting the Right Life and Work Balance

Getting the Right Life and Work Balance

As we all face the possibility of greater numbers of unemployed people due to the present economic downturn. Does this mean that work is defined simply by employment? As christians should we be encourageing more people to think about an intigrated life of service.
For the past couple of Sunday evenings I’ve been preaching about the [...]

Edinburgh 2010 to Glasgow Praise Gathering 2010

Looking through the photograohs on my iphone this weekend just reminded me of all the excellent experiences that I was able to enjoy over the past few days. Lib Dems Give Cameron A Clegg Up And Gordon is Browned Off !

Well here’s the question how long will it take for “Nick to get Flegg Up”. How long will it take before we see headlines like “Nasty Nick does the Tories Dirty Work?” And how long will it take before people are wishing they had a “Sweet Chocolate Brownie in No 10″. Oh I’ve got another [...]

I’m Voting For The Resurrection Party!

It was interesting watching the Prime Ministerial Television Debate tonight but in reality it was a bit of a damp squib. The bottom line for me is that we need to ensure that the economy continues to recover. Ultimately it will be the economy that will determine the result of the election. While most [...]

General Electiom 2010 -Tax Breaks For Married Couples

It is interesting that the Conservatives have given a nod towards traditional family values, by offering a tax break to married couples who have an income below the cut off point of £44,000 before paying the higher tax rate. Certainly the whole conept of being married today has gone out of fashion. More and more [...]

Politicians Need To Fear the People

Well the General Election has been called and its all bets off as to who will win. I notice that the party leaders are looking to find ways to encourage us all to go voting. As a nation these islands are now under threat not from an outside enemy but from ourselves. When it comes [...]
