I'm waiting for Bill Campbell to arrive. Bill will be our guide for the day. He is one of the Presbytery elders taking his turn to be chauffeur to the Moderator. We've been having an extremely encouraging time here in the Presbytery of Wigtown and Stranraer. I arrived yesterday in Wigtown to take part in the BBC Radio programme, 'Brian Taylor's Big Debate" and also to give a talk at the Wigtown book Festival.  This is also an opportunity  to promote the book of prayers I've written entitled " Sanctuary".It reflects some of the material we publish daily on the Sanctuary First  web site It was a torturous, drive from Edinburgh to Wigtown . Today I was the subject of a photo shoot outside 121 George Street. A drunk man kept on getting in the way. He was a friendly drunk but it was a bit hilarious. Moderator Gets A Ticket To Ride The "Tax Bus "

Its not easy keeping up with all the things I want to write about as Moderator but also as italker. Yesterday was an interesting day for me.  I was invited to attend the Christian Aid Tax Bus which it touring round the UK highlighting the need for greater fairness in the tax system especially in relation to the tax that many corporate companies pay.
